Bridal and photographic make-up artist Georgina Bliha understands just how important it is to get every fine detail of your wedding day just right, from choosing the dream dress to choosing the perfect photographer and least of all your wedding day make-up!
Surprisingly with the all the planning that goes into a wedding day the bridal make-up can often be a last minute thought but when you consider your look will be captured in photos forever it's just as important to get this detail right.
Georgina uses Smashbox, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Dior and Benefit make-up along with tried and tested techniques
to ensure that your make-up not only looks beautifully radiant in your photographs but lasts all through the day and night. So whether it is a natural look or something more dramatic you have in mind, Georgina can work with you to create a wedding look you are happy with and most importantly makes you feel like a princess!
If you don’t wear make-up on a day to day basis it is worth considering the question ‘is a make-up artist for you?’ Make-up can be used to enhance or disguise but if you aren’t used to wearing make-up even the lightest coverage will be a change from the norm and although premium brands known for their breathable and light textures are applied it goes without saying you will feel as though you are wearing make-up! If you don’t wear make-up because you simply don’t like the feel of it on your skin then the short answer is ‘no’ hiring a professional is probably not for you.
About Georgina
Bridal make-up artist Georgina Bliha grew up in the Wiltshire. After leaving school she qualified as a Fashion and Textile
Designer before pursuing a career as a professional fashion model working for Samantha Bond Model Management in London.
During Georgina's lucrative modelling career, she was fortunate enough to have her hair and make-up styled by a number of renowned make-up artists including highly respected 'Gary Cockerill' this enabled her to pick up many useful tricks of the trade particularly those that ensure make-up lasts.
After getting married in 2006 Georgina knows only too well just how important it is to 'feel' and 'look' your best
on your wedding day. Getting married inspired her to pursue her ultimate dream of re-training as a professional make-up artist specialising in bridal and photographic makeup.
Georgina has over 15 years of experience with-in the industry, diplomas in Make-up artistry
and is a member of MAC Pro.
